Job description

Our Client is looking to hire an AI / Gen AI Engineer / Architect to join their growing team.

This is a full time role and not open to contract or C2C candidates.

AI / Gen AI Engineer / Architect

We are seeking a hands-on AI / Gen AI Engineer / Architect to join our global technology team. This role combines deep technical expertise with architectural design and engineering execution to deliver enterprise-scale AI solutions. You will play a key role in designing, building, and operationalizing advanced AI / ML and Generative AI systems that power next-generation digital products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer enterprise-scale AI / ML and Generative AI solutions, including machine learning models, LLMs, agentic AI, conversational AI, and cognitive services (vision, NLP, and speech).
  • Prototype and build proof-of-concepts (PoCs), minimum viable products (MVPs), and production-ready AI applications.
  • Fine-tune and optimize large language models (LLMs), train custom models, and evaluate performance metrics to ensure scalable, reliable deployments.
  • Architect and integrate AI / ML pipelines into enterprise data and application ecosystems, leveraging cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Perform hands-on data engineering : data exploration, cleansing, feature engineering, and pipeline automation for model training and inference.
  • Evaluate and implement AI / ML platforms, frameworks, and tools; perform cost-benefit and ROI analysis to guide adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, data science) to translate business problems into AI-powered solutions.
  • Mentor and guide engineering and data teams in AI / ML best practices, deployment, and integration.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by experimenting with cutting-edge AI research and applying emerging techniques (Generative AI, agent-based systems, reinforcement learning, multimodal models).

  • Strong technical foundation in AI / ML engineering and solution architecture.
  • Passion for building production-grade AI systems and adopting emerging technologies.
  • Ability to balance hands-on engineering with high-level architecture and solution design.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex AI / ML concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of delivering scalable AI solutions in enterprise environments.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field (Master’s / MBA a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in AI / ML solution engineering, architecture, and implementation.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data, analytics, and AI services.
  • 3+ years with data science and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).
  • Recent, hands-on expertise with Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI .
  • Strong understanding of data engineering, statistical methods, and ML lifecycle management (MLOps).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architecture (compute, networking, security) and enterprise integration patterns.
