About the Role : Speech Services Manager
The Speech Services Manager is a pivotal role that combines clinical expertise with leadership. You will oversee all aspects of our Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services, ensuring top-notch quality and supporting the growth of our Speech Therapy Services across the company.
Your Responsibilities : Direct Therapy
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Provide therapy to enhance speech and communication skills.Collaborate with BCBAs, BTs, and other team members for integrated care.Educate clients and families about speech and language disorders.Document client progress and maintain accurate treatment records.Utilize specialized equipment for diagnosis and treatment.Clinical Quality Assurance
Design and maintain electronic documentation systems for SLP.Conduct audits to ensure regulatory compliance.Monitor referrals for timely service delivery.Ensure compliance with CARF, JACHO, and DOH regulations.Leadership
Lead initiatives for program development and performance improvement.Ensure optimal utilization of client SLP sessions.Supervise clinical and support staff, fostering career development.Develop and implement staff training programs.Strategic Growth
Partner with leadership to plan the growth of the Speech service line.Occasionally travel to support SLP teams in other markets.Build relationships with community providers for referrals.Collaborate on marketing strategies to expand our speech services.Engage in research and continuing education to stay current in the field.What We’re Looking For : Required Skills / Abilities :
Expertise in Speech-Language Pathology.Experience in diverse clinical settings and market leadership.Proficiency in speech and language assessment tools.Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues.Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.Education and Experience :
Master's degree in Speech Pathology required.State license as a Speech Pathologist is mandatory.Willingness to obtain licenses in other states.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.3-5 years of experience in the field preferred.Physical Requirements :
