Sr. User Experience Designer

Do you have Product Design experience and are seeking a new contract job in Minneapolis? Horizontal Talent is helping a collaborative company find a full-time Senior User Experience Designer, and the hybrid role comes with an attractive pay rate.

As a Sr. User Experience Designer in the Digital Shopping Experience Understanding & Deciding Team, you will work with a highly collaborative team of experience designers, content designers, researchers, strategists, product managers, and engineers to create compelling human-centered experiences. You'll be focused on helping customers discover and shop for products and services in the client's mobile app, website, and digital properties.

During your first few weeks in this UX Designer role, you can expect to take on some of the folllowing:

• Evolve and challenge the client brand through the thoughtful application of modern visual design best practices
• Work with Experience/UX designers, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to create solutions and align customer and business needs
• Leverage research, site metrics, and usability findings to make recommendations and drive strategy
• Work to understand the problem space and foster a shared vision of the future
• Participate in a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement

To apply for this Sr. User Experience Designer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:

• At least 4 years of experience as an Experience/UX Designer or 6+ years in a Design-related role
• Advanced knowledge of UX Design principles and deliverables (designs, wireframes, prototypes, etc.)
• Advanced skills with tools such as Figma, Sketch, IN Vision, Axure, Miro, etc
• Ability to handle multiple efforts, attention to detail, relationship-building, excellent communication skills, and accountability
