Job descriptionInput, update, and verify technical data in spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems. Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs to ensure correct data entry. Perform data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies. Generate reports and summaries to support engineering and manufacturing teams. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of information. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and follow data security practices. Assist with additional administrative and technical support tasks as assigned.
Technical Data Entry Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Technical Data Entry Clerk to support engineering and manufacturing operations. This role involves entering, maintaining, and verifying data with a high degree of accuracy while working with technical documents such as drawings, bills of materials, and schematics. Candidates should be quick learners who can adapt to new systems, processes, and tools.
Who Would Excel At This Role :
- Exposure to manufacturing processes, engineering documentation, or product lifecycle management (such as working with BOMs, schematics, or blueprints).
- Familiarity with ERP / CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is a strong advantage.
- Analytical thinker who can spot errors and maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments.
- Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or clerical work, especially in a technical or manufacturing environment.
