Position Summary

We are seeking a Traffic / Civil Engineer with 1+ years of experience to work in the expanding Transportation group. The Traffic / Civil Engineer will work on a variety of public sector infrastructure projects in the NY / NJ area including bridge, roadway, and aviation projects. Work includes preparation and / or review of design documents for signs (guide signs and traffic control warning / regulatory signs), pavement markings, traffic signals, traffic barriers, maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) design, ITS design, roadway design, alignments, grading, utilities, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and / or review design plans, estimates, technical specifications, details, and other project related documents (guide signs, traffic control signs, pavement markings, traffic signals, traffic barriers, MPT, ITS, alignments, grading, utilities, etc.).
• Design / Review construction design documents to ensure effective and safe traffic operations, including evaluation of complex construction phasing plans.
• Develop conceptual documents and provide design recommendations.
• Coordinate with staff from a range of other disciplines (civil, structural, operations, etc.) to resolve design issues.
• As a small firm, there are great opportunities to work on a variety of projects and learn different aspects of Civil Engineering and Traffic Engineering including Transportation Planning skills.

Pay / Benefits

Pay :  $80,000.00 - $120,000.00

The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
