About the Role

As a Corporate Trainer focused on leadership development, youll play a key role in preparing our next generation of leaders. This role will focus on emerging leadership development and high-potential (Hi-Po) talent programs, equipping employees with the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to step into leadership roles and drive organizational success. This role blends facilitation with program coordination to ensure that leaders at every level have the tools, resources, and coaching they need to grow and succeed. This position requires extensive field travel (50% or more) to locations across multiple states and may include occasional weekends based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide group coaching and one-on-one development support to emerging leaders and Hi-Po employees.
  • Foster career development pathways, supporting participants in creating actionable growth plans.
  • Track participation, engagement, and learning outcomes to measure ROI and program effectiveness.
  • Provide quarterly updates to senior leadership on Hi-Po program metrics, participant progress, and future recommendations.
  • Develop and facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and blended learning programs focused on emerging leadership, people management, and Hi-Po development.
  • Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to identify high-potential talent and align training with succession planning needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a facilitator, trainer, or educator, with a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in delivering leadership training programs in a corporate or organizational setting.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and facilitation techniques.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in using learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms to facilitate remote and in-person learning experiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to achieve training objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Certification in facilitation, training, or related field (e.g., Certified Professional Facilitator) is a plus.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and light lifting (up to 15 lbs) for event or team meeting support.
  • Ability to participate in onsite meetings, employee engagements, and field visits, which may involve walking job sites or standing for extended periods.
  • Travel Requirements

    This position requires extensive travel 50% or more including both in-state and out-of-state trips, based on business needs. Travel may also include weekends and holidays as required.
