A Day in the Life – Polymer Concrete (PC) Caster at NewBasis

As a PC Caster at NewBasis, your day revolves around casting high quality covers and boxes using a variety of mold platforms. You’ll prepare molds of different sizes, mix and pour polymer concrete, and reinforce each product with materials like fiberglass or rebar to meet strength and durability standards.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and committed to following procedures and best practices to meet production goals and reduce waste.

• Safety First – Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and wear required personal protective equipment
• Pride in Quality – Produce products that meet customer and company standards
• Production Goals – Meet daily output targets for on-time customer delivery
• Work environment – Manufacturing facility with exposure to dust, noise, vibrations, and varying temperatures. Regular standing, bending, lifting, and use of hand tools and equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

Employees in this position start at $22 / hour and have the potential to earn an additional $1 / hour after 90 days.

Hourly employees are eligible for benefits the first day of the month following a 60-day waiting period. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage with company-paid life insurance, 401k retirement plan (with matching), voluntary LTD, STD, spouse and dependent life insurances.

Schedule

Experience a better work / life balance with a Monday-Thursday, 6 : 00am – 4 : 30pm schedule.
