Job Description & Requirements Specialty : LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel LDRP RN – Critical Access Hospital (CAH) ID : 56562325 Contract : 13 weeks Shift : 3x12s (7a–7 : 30p or 7p–7 : 30a) call Call : 2 shifts per 4-week schedule (7p–7 : 30a, 1-hour response time) Hours : 36 / week Unit Details : Unit : LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Beds : 5 LDRP, 3 postpartum (C-section rooms) C-section OR : 1 suite (not currently circulating or scrubbing, may change in future) Deliveries : ~18–20 per month (~225 / year) Staffing : 3 RNs days / 2 RNs nights Ratios : Follows AWHONN guidelines Charting : Epic; GE CPN / Novii fetal monitoring Orientation : 1–2 days Scrubs : Purple scrubs provided Float : May float Requirements : Experience : 2–3 years independent L&D / Postpartum / Newborn experience Certifications : BLS, NRP (AWHONN preferred) Must be competent in titrating Pitocin, Magnesium, and occasional insulin drips Must be able to interpret fetal monitoring Must be flexible for day / night shifts Other Info : OB MDs on-call (15 total across 3 clinics); ER physician covers if urgent Anesthesia : In-house days / on-call nights RT available; experience with Neopuff-T Piece preferred Holidays : Every other holiday required Weekends : 2 per 4-week schedule Strong teamwork and flexibility needed in small rural setting BSN required Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Job ID 17092793.
