Kelsey-Seybold Clinic seeks a fulltime, energetic Physician’s Assistant (PA) needed for a busy Cardiology Practice.  The PA will be supporting a particular Cardiologist on the north side of town.  Primary Focus is centered on responsibilities within the hospital & outpatient clinic setting.  In addition, other duties assigned may and can include :  clinic office evaluations, virtual visit assessments and office call reports.

Qualified candidates must be available Monday - Friday between the hours of 8a-5p; call may be required in special circumstances.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Uses critical thinking to manage care of cardiac patients as directed by the physician in both the hospital and clinic settings
• Performs and documents physical exams and interviews as well as the plan of care as decided by the physician
• Discusses relevant findings with the physician
• Ensures appropriate medications and follow-up are ordered and scheduled
• Educates patients and their family about cardiac and medical issues, outcomes, the role of the caregiver, and medication management

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $166,500 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
