Senior Level Construction Materials Laboratory Testing Technician / Manager - Full-Time / LV, NV

Description

Certerra has an excellent opportunity in our Las Vegas, NV office for a full-time senior level construction materials laboratory testing technician / manager potential. This position requires a minimum of three to five years of construction materials laboratory testing experience. We are a company that does not provide jobs, we provide careers!

Experience should include laboratory and field testing of concrete, soil, asphalt concrete, other construction materials, and mix design processes in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, and State procedures. Knowledge of masonry and asphalt laboratory testing procedures preferred. Current laboratory certifications and ability to achieve additional concrete and soil laboratory certifications is a bonus.

Other responsibilities will include assisting with maintaining AMRL / CCRL / NDOT accreditations, preparing daily reports, documenting test results, and assisting project managers and engineers with assignments.

Certifications preferred :

• American Concrete Institute (ACI)

Field Testing Technician Level I

Field Testing

Good communication and organizational skills, computer skills, good math skills, and a clean driving record are required. Managing staff is a plus.
