Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 5+ years of EPC project management experience in renewable energy (solar, wind, geothermal, or RNG preferred). Familiarity with renewable energy permitting and regulatory requirements. Strong proficiency in EPC project management software, including tools like Procore, Primavera, or Microsoft Project. Proven experience in cost control, project scheduling, and resource allocation. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable. Direct experience with RNG projects is a plus. Knowledge of SCADA systems and renewable energy monitoring technologies. Strong negotiation skills with experience in vendor management and procurement. Familiarity with quality management processes and tools for continuous improvement. The EPC Project Manager will oversee all phases of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of renewable energy projects. This role requires a strategic, organized, and technically capable professional to manage resources, timelines, and budgets while strictly adhering to quality and safety standards. RNG experience is a plus, but a background in any renewable energy sector is a plus.
This role includes travel to project sites and close collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage full project lifecycle from engineering and design through procurement and construction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones while coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, material requisition, and contract negotiation.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to quality, environmental, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to review and approve technical specifications and design changes.
- Conduct regular site visits for progress assessments and quality control.
- Provide project updates, identify risks, and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Manage and monitor project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project transparency.
