12-hour night shifts, 7 PM - 7 : 30 AM. Options include Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Neuro Registered Nurse will provide care for patients with neurological disorders, including those with Deep Brain Stimulators, strokes, seizures, and surgical / post-operative spine needs. This role requires strong neuro experience and proficiency in using G-tubes, as well as recent experience with the EPIC charting system.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Care for patients in the Neuro unit, managing a variety of neurological conditions.

    • \n

  • Monitor patient vital signs and manage care protocols as directed by physicians.

    • \n

  • Document patient interactions and care in the EPIC charting system.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Valid Registered Nurse license.

    • \n

  • BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS certification preferred.

    • \n

  • Proven experience in a neuro-focused setting.

    • \n

  • Recent EPIC experience required.

    • \n

  • NIHSS certification must be in hand at the time of submission.
