Physician Pediatric-Pulmonology - Competitive Salary

Job Description

Established pediatric subspecialty group, founded in 1997, with 150+ expert pediatric and maternal-fetal medicine physicians serving patients from infancy through young adulthood.

Pediatric pulmonology team seeking a skilled pulmonologist with 5-6 years experience, as this position will be thesole pediatric pulmonologist on site, providing a unique leadership and clinical opportunity.

Full-time, 40-50 hour workweek, offering a balanced schedule with comprehensive care responsibilities across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.

Comprehensive, family-centered care :

Diagnosis and treatment of complex respiratory and chronic lung conditions including asthma, cystic fibrosis, allergies, and others

Personalized treatment plans by board-certified pediatric pulmonologists

Participation in clinical research advancing therapies and outcomes

Diagnostic Services include :

Exercise stress testing

Allergy evaluations

Advanced pulmonary function and bronchoscopy labs

Specialized Programs :

Accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center and California Childrens Services-approved care for nearly 200 patients annually

Asthma management with education on triggers, inhaler technique, and symptom control

Pediatric Sleep Center for diagnosis and treatment of sleep-disordered breathing in patients through age 21

Home Ventilator Program supporting ventilator-dependent children for enhanced quality of life

Multidisciplinary collaboration with :

Immunology, ENT, Gastroenterology, NICU, PICU, Heart Center, and inpatient services for integrated respiratory care

Candidate Requirements :

Board Eligible / Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonology

MD / DO, eligible for California medical license

5-6 years post-training experience preferred due to leadership expected as sole pediatric pulmonologist onsite
