Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Associate for our NYC showroom and retail store. This individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales goals, and cultivating strong client relationships.
The ideal candidate has experience in women’s contemporary or luxury fashion, a proven track record of clienteling, and a keen sense of style and trends. Comfort with social media is preferred to help showcase product and engage with the brand’s community.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Experience
- Achieve individual and store sales goals while providing a personalized, elevated shopping experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, aligning with Saint Art’s brand values and client journey.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge and communicate Saint Art’s brand message authentically.
- Stay informed about current fashion trends and styling techniques to offer clients thoughtful guidance and styling advice.
Client Relationship Management
Maintain an organized and accurate client book, capturing meaningful customer data.Proactively follow up with clients to provide styling updates, notify them about new arrivals, and personalize their experience.Build long-term client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat visits.Social Media Support
Use social media platforms to highlight store offerings, styling ideas, and engage with clients in line with brand guidelines.Collaborate with the marketing team to support in-store content creation when needed.Share client insights to help improve product assortments and marketing efforts.Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with fellow associates and managers, fostering open communication and teamwork.Contribute to a positive store environment by supporting team objectives and sharing ideas to improve the client experience.Operations & Store Standards
Execute daily operational tasks, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining store cleanliness.Uphold visual merchandising standards, ensuring the showroom reflects the brand identity and seasonal direction.Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a smooth back-of-house operation.Qualifications
2–3 years of retail experience in women’s fashion, luxury, or contemporary apparel.Strong clienteling skills, ideally with an active client book.Proficiency with social media platforms to support store marketing efforts.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of Shopify or similar POS systems is a plus.Compensation
A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $18.00 USD to $21.00 USD.
