Roles and Responsibilities 01

Design / Review

• Ensuring detailed design and drawings / review of Surface and Ground Water Supply Projects, WTP, Intakes, MS / DI / HDPE Pipeline projects.
• Consultation with Design Manager for material requirements, design procedures, assumptions, and constraints. Preparing and finalizing design basis report.
• Preparing preliminary designs with the help of Design Manager.
• Reviewing Tender Documents, attending kick off meetings, understanding client’s requirements, attending discussion with Design Manager about addition and deletion from scope of service.
• Preparing design delivery schedule after discussing with Design Manager.
• Assisting Design Manager for
• Reviewing information affecting design, discussing with Design Manager, and following instructions accordingly.
• Organizing, Drafting, Reviewing, and Coordinating Technical Submittals.
• Finalizing the designs and ensuring that designs are constructable, safe, and economical, satisfying contract requirements, law of land, statutory provisions.
• Advising for required modifications and additional calculations.

Educational Desirable : NA

Computer Software Proficiency

AutoCAD, Staad, Midas, Sofistik, etc. Knowledge of Design Codes

Experience Range

Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in Underground Tunnel, Underground Metro Station, D ’Wall Construction Works etc. with leading infrastructural firm in India

Primarily work in office environments, but also sometimes travel to project sites. May require working extended hours. Should be able to manage stress & turbulent situations.
