Equipment Engineer

General Description of Duties

Under the general direction of Group Equipment Director, purpose of position is to support industry & operations functions throughout Vinci Group. Employee will coordinate with all other managers as needed to ensure efficient and effective workflow. Performs related work as required.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible to support all equipment administrative and operations within Company to include:

• Assist in developing, managing and be a leader in our Safety 1st culture using Safety Action Plan that is aligned with Group & Company Safety Goals.
• Ensure all local laws, regulations, Eurovia rules and Group policies are in compliance.
• Performs daily activities to provide support in daily activities related to all asphalt plant and quarry operations
• Provides clear concise information to managers for reviews of asphalt plant and quarry processes which establish best practices and systems to reduce overall expenses and reduce carbon footprint.
• Negotiates with vendors for contracts, parts and services. Must have Group Equipment Director approval before any agreements are made.
• Vehicle and work area are clean and well maintained.
• Performs human resource functions for attracting and retaining employees. Mentor all employees to build a goal-oriented team. Manage training, human resources and career progression programs for all equipment employees under their supervision.

Responsible for daily activities of equipment controlling functions within Company to include:

• Performs daily activities for account payable system to ensure all payables are correctly coded and accounted for in the system. Ensures all invoices are approved by Equipment Director.
• Performs daily activities that provide accurate reports on revenues, expenses and energy consumption Weekly Monthly Quarterly Annually
• Performs daily activities needed to accurately manage assets. Transfers Deletions
• Performs daily activities that provide accurate reports on revenues and expenses. Weekly Monthly Quarterly Annually

Responsible for daily activities of Company capital acquisitions to include:

• Ensure equipment specifications meet local laws, regulations, Eurovia rules and Group policy. Specifications will take into account Energy & Cost Reduction Goals established by Vinci & Group Management.
• Assisting each division in coordination, planning and validation of their capital budgets by providing guidance on process, forms and information required for an accurate budget.
• Coordinate directly with Equipment Support Manager, Region Equipment Manager for efficient flow of purchase orders, invoices and other materials required for accountability of capital purchases.
• Coordinates directly with Equipment Support Manager, Region Equipment Manager to ensure accurate information is provided for purchase of all equipment.
• Coordinate directly with Equipment Support Manager to ensure each asset is accurately setup in KHEOPS. Processes all invoices, purchase orders and delivery inspection documents prior to forwarding to Equipment Support Manager.

Responsible for administration of equipment sales for Company to include:

• Performs activities need to develop master sale list.
• Performs activities to ensure all equipment is prepped for sale as outlined in Group Policies.
• Provides all pertinent information and inspection report to Equipment Support Manager when equipment is ready for sale.
