Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU / SICU position requiring an active NY RN license and EPIC EMR experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (ICU / SICU) of a hospital
  • Specialized care for neurological and surgical ICU patients
  • Day shifts from 7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm
  • Use EPIC EMR system; prior EPIC experience is required
  • No blocked scheduling is permitted
  • Completion of skills checklist and clinical interview form is required
  • Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
  • Applicants must not reside in specified local counties within a 50-mile radius of the facility
  • More than 3 call outs during the assignment may result in contract termination and make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
  • Time off (RTO) requests must be made at the time of application

  • Active NY RN license required at time of application
  • Minimum of 2 years recent ICU or specialty experience required
  • Certifications (BLS, ACLS) must be issued by AHA or RQI
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
  • US Social Security Number required (no Canadian SIN accepted)
  • Must pass ICU competency testing within two attempts
  • Medical exemption for flu vaccine requires licensed medical professional documentation; personal or religious exemptions are not accepted
