Senior Environmental Scientist - Nuclear

A company is looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist - Nuclear Licensing.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the preparation of NEPA environmental reviews, including Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Environmental Assessments (EA)

Analyze environmental data and project information to evaluate potential impacts to various resources

Prepare technical reports and documentation that comply with NRC, DOE, and other federal regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or related field (Master's preferred)

Minimum 8+ years of experience conducting NEPA assessments and preparing environmental documentation for complex federal projects

Proven experience developing EIS and EA documents to support NRC licensing actions

Knowledge of NRC, DOE, and other federal environmental regulations and processes

US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements
