Underwriter / Senior Underwriter (MPL, MPL with Cyber and Multimedia, Primary and Excess)
The Underwriter / Sr. Underwriter (MPL) is responsible for building and maintaining a book of MPL business, including MPL with Cyber and Multimedia coverage, both primary and excess. Work includes following underwriting guidelines, rating manuals and rules promulgated by the actuaries and MPL product management team, the review of insurance applications, quoting and binding of insurance within the authority delegated to the underwriter. This includes working with brokers in the underwriter's assigned territory to solicit business and market the company's products.

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $85,400 to a maximum of $150,600. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and / or performance-based variable pay programs.
