WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Our Product Engineer II will work in close collaboration with with Design, Marketing, Innovation and Product Creation teams to provide direction for material choices, design, and construction, (Upper and Tooling) alleviating potential manufacturing or costing concerns. You will respond to requests from internal / external customers as well as assist in providing input and solutions at the functional level, assisting in in reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing engineering studies and analyzing process data to develop refined product specifications. You will need strong communication skills to communicate and share project details and status to all stakeholders.

As a Footwear Product Engineer II, you will be located at Nike’s World Headquarter in Beaverton, Oregon. You will be a key member of the Product Creation team responsible to understand the product brief to deliver to the athlete’s needs. You will focus on product projects to meet performance, design, cost and sustainable targets. You will lead the project from engineering P.O.V., and support management of key footwear products or components within product creation and manufacturing teams. Using critical thinking, analytical, innovative, and communication skills, you will focus on problem solving from development through commercialization stages. You will apply and promote Nike Engineering best practices. You will provide critical feedback on projects to ensure product quality,
