The program requires 15 locum shifts per month for six months, covering both day and night shifts. Annual patient volume is 73,000, averaging 2.3 patients per hour, with 48 ED beds. Shift times include 5a12p, 7a3p, 8a3p, 10a5p, 12p9p, 2p10p, 3p11p, 5p1a, 7p3a, and 9p5a. APC coverage runs 9a7p, 12p10p, and 8p6a, totaling 30 hours per day. Scribe coverage is available if locums covers the cost. EMR is Epic, admitting orders are not required, and temporary privileges may be granted for clean files.
