The Role

You will provide primary care to patients in residential care, skilled nursing and acute care facilities, and occasionally in one of our offices. Main responsibilities will include supporting and overseeing physician assistants (PAs) and nurse practitioners (NPs), reviewing and signing off on PA and NP notes and visiting facilities regularly to (1) see patients and (2) build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with facility leaders and staff.

The Requirements

To be a good fit for the Clinical Physician Director opportunity, you will have :

A background in internal medicine, family practice, palliative care or similar would be helpful, but we are open to other backgrounds.

A patient-centered approach and excellent bedside manner.

A demonstrated ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships.

Willingness to spend about 75% of your time in the field, visiting different facilities.
