We’re seeking a Curation Specialist in our Cincinnati market to assess and curate lots for sale on EBTH digital platforms.   As a dynamic company, we move fast and seek to continuously improve – and while this will be a very demanding position, you’ll be surrounded by a passionate team of individuals who are dedicated to the common goal of drastically changing the way personal property is sold, bought and moved across the country – and we have a lot of fun while we’re doing it.

TASKS YOU’LL BE JUGGLING Receive inbound deliveries, unpack, and sort them as necessary.

Assess the potential sale value of an item, performing item research using web resources, reference materials, expert contacts, and other means as necessary.

Manage and sort through inventory to ensure item groupings maximize value for our sellers.  Have legal knowledge of auction issues surrounding various items sold on the site.

Coordinate with sales and merchandising departments to manage and communicate client expectations throughout production.  Work with EBTH teammates to maximize efficiency and timeliness to achieve company-defined Key Performance Indicators.

Attribute relevant items as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

CREDENTIALS WE ARE SEEKING Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience. 2 years of experience in researching, selling, curating items in specific field(s) of expertise.

Knowledge of antiques, artwork, collectibles and / or unique items with ability to assess value.

Ability to move / lift up to 30 lbs., and ability to stand for long periods of time.

Reliable transportation.

Maintain a set production schedule to align with production needs, while being willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if business needs require.

A team player mentality with an ability to work independently.
