Job Title : Intensive Outpatient / Outpatient TherapistJob Description :

  • Providing Services
  • : Responsible for delivering services in the IOP and OP Treatment Programs, including clinical management and client care.
  • Compliance
  • : Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and independent regulatory statutes.
  • Planning and Evaluation
  • : Engage in long and short-term planning, program evaluation, and compliance assessment.
  • Client Care
  • : Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions. Develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Documentation
  • : Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration
  • : Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, provide client updates, and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Referrals and Crisis Intervention
  • : Provide referrals to other agencies as needed and offer crisis intervention services to clients.
  • Reports
  • : Prepare reports for overseeing agencies and referral sources as required.
  • Community Engagement
  • : Liaise with outside providers, agencies, and community members to support clients' needs.
  • Client Satisfaction
  • : Ensure overall client satisfaction with program services.
  • Professional Development
  • : Engage in continuing education and maintain relevant certifications.
  • Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Master's degree in Human Services Administration with a focus on substance abuse counseling or equivalent.
  • License in the state of Maryland
  • (LCSW-C, LCPC, LMSW, or LGPC).
  • Certification in addiction counseling.
  • Familiarity with state regulations, DEA regulations, and CARF standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in documentation and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of local community drug trends, addiction treatment, and related fields.
  • Compliance with ethical and professional standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience facilitating groups and individuals, and familiarity with Drug Court Policies.
