RN House Supervisors are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks :
- Receives call-ins, assigns float pool staff, and makes appropriate reassignments or changes in staff schedule to meet recommended staffing levels in the various nursing units.
- Collaborates with Nurse Managers, or Charge Nurses to maintain adequate staffing for the various nursing units for the current and oncoming shifts.
- Collaborates with the Access Intake Center staff to guarantee the most appropriate placement of the patient in the system based upon patient diagnosis, acuity, and nursing care needs
- Communicates information appropriately and effectively intra and interdepartmentally.
- Acts as a resource to nursing units and other departments and serves as a liaison when dealing with mutual problems, issues or concerns.
- Provides accurate written and / or verbal reports to Nurse Managers, Risk Manager, or Quality Improvement Director based upon problems encountered and actions taken as appropriate.

What Does LBHH Require for this Role?
A valid State of Pennsylvania Nursing (RN) (Registered Nurse) License is required.3-5 years of management experience preferred.Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required.CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation if needed.
