Gastroenterology physician job in Pennsylvania :

Locums Gastroenterology Opportunity Lewisburg, Pennsylvania

Are you a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist looking for flexible locums coverage in a supportive environment? Were seeking physicians to join a well-established team in Lewisburg, PA, with excellent staff support and competitive benefits.

Opportunity Highlights :

Coverage dates :

November 24 (7a) November 29 (7a)

December 23 (5p) January 5 (7a)

Ongoing need : 7 days per month (includes weekends, day and night call)

Call blocks : MondayMonday or FridayFriday (depending on schedule)

Clinic & procedures :

MonThurs : 8a5p (procedures 7 : 30a3 : 30p)

Friday : 8a12p (procedures 7 : 30a1p)

Rotating practice settings : hospital, ambulatory center, and office

Strong support team : Medical Director, Office Supervisor, LPNs, MOAs, and Surgery Schedulers

Clinical Details :

Specialty : Gastroenterology (no ERCP or EUS required)

Responsibilities : inpatient rounding, consults, scopes (inpatient & outpatient), office visits, follow-ups

Patient population : Adults, 18+

EMR : EPIC (with Lumens for endoscopy)

Requirements :

Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Active Pennsylvania medical license

BLS, ACLS, DEA, and CSR-PA

Background checks required (state police, child abuse clearance, FBI)

6090 days for privileging
