About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required

License : RDCS or CCI certifications

Certifications : ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS)

Must-Have : Echo / vascular experience (adult and pediatric)

Description :

Must have echo / vascular experience in both adult and pediatric settings.

A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.

Candidates must possess ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS) certification.

The position involves 10-hour shifts with rotating days off during the week.

Call responsibilities will be divided among five sonographers, Monday through Friday.

There are no weekend shifts or call on Saturday or Sunday.

Experience with charting systems is preferred.

Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred.

Candidates should have experience in a community hospital setting.

Job involves scanning for various cardiac conditions and performing specialized procedures.

Candidates should be comfortable with a range of patient demographics, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily patient census can reach up to 38 visits per day.

The unit operates with interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Familiarity with special procedures and equipment used in cardiac ultrasound is beneficial.
