Property Manager

We are helping an established company who is looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee a diverse commercial property portfolio in the Houston area. This role calls for someone who not only understands the business side of property management but who has also been involved with property improvements involving hiring contractors.

What You’ll Do :

Manage day-to-day operations for a portfolio of commercial properties

Oversee renovation and capital improvement projects, ensuring work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards

Review and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and building specifications

Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations

Work closely with contractors, vendors, and engineers to keep projects on schedule and within budget

Handle tenant relations, lease administration, and service requests

Monitor property performance and prepare operational and financial reports

What We’re Looking For :

3+ years of property management experience with commercial properties

Strong background in construction oversight or facilities management

Ability to read and understand blueprints and architectural drawings

Solid knowledge of building codes and permitting processes

• Basic understanding of material costs for construction

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Proven track record of managing projects from concept to completion
