Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or site contacts. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required, and helping to direct visitors or customers as needed. Maintain clear and concise documentation of all incidents, patrols, and daily activities according to Allied Universal protocols. Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and onsite personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment for all patrons. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver
As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Hadley, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for guests and tenants. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will create a welcoming environment. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required.
