Job description
A company is looking for a Regional Utilization Review (UR) Manager to oversee and support utilization review operations across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support facility-based UR coordinators to ensure adherence to internal standards and regulatory guidelines
Maintain strong communication across various departments regarding authorizations and reviews
Develop and deliver onboarding and continuing education programs for UR coordinators
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Active, unencumbered clinical license (RN, LCSW, or equivalent) is strongly preferred
Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience
3-5 years of UR experience
Knowledge of payer requirements, regulatory standards, and utilization criteria
