Retail Inventory & Finance Assistant

Our client, a well-established Native American themed gift shop, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Retail Inventory & Finance Assistant to join their team. They are recruiting a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Inventory & Bookkeeping Associate to support daily operations at a local retail trading post. This position blends inventory management, cash handling, and bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring smooth business operations and accurate financial records.

What you get to do : Inventory Management

Track, organize, and maintain store inventory

Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies

Assist with ordering, receiving, and restocking merchandise

Cash Handling

Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately

Balance tills and prepare daily cash deposits

Follow established cash-handling procedures

Bookkeeping & Administrative Support

Record daily sales and expenses

Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting

Support management with basic accounting tasks

What you need to be successful :

2+ years of proficiency with spreadsheets or accounting software a plus

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Previous experience in retail, trading post, or small business operations preferred

Strong skills in inventory tracking and bookkeeping

Accuracy and attention to detail in cash handling

Schedule : Thursday through Sunday from 10 : 00Am to 5 : 00PM

Pay : $20.00
