This is a temporary position.
TheFLEXManagerAAWwill be anorganized project managerready todeliveraworld-class experience to MarriottassociatesthroughAssociate Appreciation Week. This position will work with theDirector of Change Management and Associate Engagement andSenior ManagerofChange Management and Associate Engagementto build and delivereventsthat drive pride in Marriott International.
The individual will work to buildproject plans that keep these projects organizedwithin budgetand on timelineby managinglogisticswithstakeholdersthroughout the company andpromotethe events with associates.
TheManager will be expected to have strong skills inproject managementorganization budget management communicationmarketing and promotionand relationship buildingto deliver successful events.
Primary responsibilities include :
Project Management : Develop anddeliver project plansthatkeep events organizedunder budgeton timelineanddrive excitement and engagement among HQ associates for Associate Appreciation Week.
Event Planning : Ability toplan aheadand work with vendors to put on robust events thatcultivate pride at Marriott build community across disciplines and teams and encourage fun.
Marketing and Communications : Develop professional communicationsand marketing includes crafting messagesdesigningevent graphicsimplementing measurement approaches and using data and insight to refine plans.
Relationship Building : Partner with internal stakeholdersand vendorstodeliverevery aspect ofthese signatureevents.
Education and Experience
Required :
Strongproject manager with experience managing budgetsdiverse stakeholders and meeting tight deadlines in events planning and execution.
Strong preference will be given to candidates withcreativewritingor designexperience in internal communications journalism digital platformsandmarketing.
A minimum of3 years ofexperience inevent planning or working in acommunications dept.
Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Communications Journalism Marketing or other relevant fields.
