Job Summary :

Join our dynamic production team at a fast-paced manufacturing facility dedicated to creating high-quality pretzels. As a Production Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations across our mixing and packaging departments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in food production, safety protocols, and quality assurance in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) to maintain consistent product quality.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation for traceability and compliance.
  • Adhere to all FDA, OSHA, and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Assist with running production lines, including mixing, baking, and packaging of pretzels.
  • Load, unload, and store raw ingredients and finished products properly.
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring and mixing accurately, monitoring mixing and baking processes to ensure proper temperature and timing.
  • Support the cleaning and sanitation of the work area daily to meet health standards.
  • Manage inventory by monitoring ingredient levels and recording processed bag counts.
  • Inspect products for quality, identifying and removing damaged or defective items.
  • Operate and monitor equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Ensure finished products are correctly stored, labeled, and documented.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors, following instructions and contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Food safety certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly and stand, bend, and twist for the entire shift.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in bakery, food manufacturing, or industrial kitchen settings preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to work in a noisy, temperature-variable environment, including warehouse and food production areas.
  • Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. (must not require sponsorship).
