Senior Manager, Global Trade Compliance, Licensing
The Sr. Manager, Global Trade Compliance, Licensing will focus on reviewing and submitting trade related license applications for L3Harris import and export requirements to U.S. Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR) while also managing Global Trade Compliance licensing staff. Additional activities include advising on usage and requirements for ITAR Exemptions and EAR Exceptions, record keeping activities as identified in the ITAR and EAR as well as development, implement, and disseminate training related to L3Harris internal trade policies and procedures. This role also interfaces with Global Trade Compliance professionals as well as L3Harris Segment and Corporate leaders. This position will report to the Director, Global Trade Compliance, Licensing and will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Trade Licensing Team and collaborating with various business units and corporate staff, ensuring adherence to the L3Harris Global Trade Compliance Program.
Essential Functions :
- Timely review and submittal of international license applications to ensure that they meet U.S. Government regulatory requirements and L3Harris policy and procedure requirements
- Serve as primary point of contact with the U.S. Government regulators to submit, manage, and resolve any issues related to international trade license applications and foster collaborative relationships while supporting L3Harris international business development initiatives
- Provide guidance to designated L3Harris companies on Trade Compliance requirements as per the ITAR and EAR
- Support strategic licensing activities to support cross segment global trade compliance activity.
- Serve as an escalation point for critical licensing review and coordination with USG regulators
- Develop and implement guidance, procedures, processes and templates to facilitate international license requirements
- Develop and actively participate in Trade related training events (webinars, summits and conferences)
- Act as an Empowered Official in accordance with the ITAR
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned to support the team's objectives
- Up to 30% travel domestically for various conferences or site visits
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior experience in trade compliance or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experiencePossess or be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance at the SECRET levelPreferred Additional Skills :
