  • Career Level : P3
  • Salary Range : $72,100 - $101,000

Responsibilities

  • The Technical Editor is responsible for writing and editing multiple reports and documents associated with SRS mission performance, including site-wide performance self-assessments, program technical documents and presentations, and customer reporting.
  • Translate complex technologies and ideas into impactful reports for a variety of audiences.
  • Work independently, identify trends, establish positive working relationships, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and review technical content for clarity, impact, flow, meaning, and readability; liaise with technical staff to ensure accurate interpretation of data, drawings, and specifications.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least five years of experience in a relevant role, or Master’s degree with at least two years of experience, or Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
  • Equivalencies to experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience writing technical documents and managing document development.
  • Experience with NNSA mission areas preferred.
