Job description3 Med Tele RN position at Riverside Medical Center Charge experience required Department : Med Tele RN Common diagnosis : CHF, strokes, chest pain, Dm, PN, COPD, detox, underlying cardiac conditions. Cath lab recoveries. Must have EPIC experience Preferred travel experience Must have IL license in hand Drivers License required for submission to be considered Charge required for all shifts - 5p-530a 12 hours shifts from 5-5 Weekend Requirements : Every other Holiday Requirements : Every other Floating Requirements : Medical floors / step down to take tele level patients Charge experience required Common diagnosis : CHF, strokes, chest pain, Dm, PN, COPD, detox, underlying cardiac conditions. Cath lab recoveries. Facility requires clinical prescreen If recommended, the hiring manager has 24-hours to accept / decline this candidate They will not call for a 2nd phone interview # Beds : 31 Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 5-6 Are RN's required to titrate drips : No Common titratable & / or set rate drips : Lasix, heparin, bumex, protonix, octreotide Are there Tele / Monitor Techs on this unit : RNs read tele. They do have a centralized tele tech that helps monitor Charge Nurse / House Supervisor : Team Lead during the day- does not take patients. Charge on nights / weekends / holidays. Charge takes patients Are there Nurse Aides on this unit / Ratios : Yes. 1 : 10-12 RT / Equipment : Cpap / bipap intermittent only Scrub Color : Caribbean colored scrubs Unit / Department Specific Orientation : 1- 12 hour shift Radius Rule : Any clinician with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility will be offered a rate of $7.00 less than the base rate of their position
