Job Title : Construction Superintendent – K–12 Projects Location : Orlando, FL Employment Type : Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for K–12 school construction projects in the Orlando area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of superintendent experience working with commercial general contractors on educational facilities. This role requires strong leadership, scheduling expertise, and a deep understanding of school construction standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day job site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to meet project milestones
• Interpret and enforce project plans, specifications, and building codes
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with local and state regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, RFIs, and change orders
• Lead site meetings and communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and school district representatives
• Manage logistics for material deliveries, equipment usage, and workforce allocation
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and client expectations
• Support project closeout, punch list completion, and turnover procedures
