Pay Information

$375 to $450 per hour

About The Position

Gastroenterology - Flexible Call Schedule and IMLC Friendly in Missouri

Take control of your calendar with an Inpatient Locums Gastroenterology Assignment in Missouri. This is a unique opportunity for Board Certified GI physicians to provide flexible call coverage around your current schedule, offering a predictable 0-6 patient volume per shift . This assignment has long-term contract potential and provides an excellent way to maintain your procedural skills without a full-time commitment.

Highlights

  • Only 5-11 shifts per month still available-you pick the dates that work for you.
  • Long term contract potential for ongoing coverage.
  • Low patient volume : 0-6 per shift and 0-2 admissions .
  • Open to IMLC Physicians with an active Letter of Qualification (LOQ).

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient medical setting in Missouri.
  • Adult patient population.
  • Supported by 1 APP , 4 RNs , and 4 MAs .

    • Schedule

  • Ongoing need starting as early as February 2026.
  • Call Only coverage with 24-hour availability. 1
  • 30-minute response time for calls.

    • Procedures and Cases

  • Requires proficiency in General GI procedures.
  • ERCP and EUS are not required for this coverage.
  • Case types are general adult Gastroenterology.

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
  • 24 months of experience required.

    • Credentialing Requirements

  • Credentialing is 30-90 days , with temporary privileges available .
  • Missouri state license required, or active IMLC LOQ.
