About the Role
Our client is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Centralized Lending Specialist (Mortgage Loan Officer) to join their lending center in Charlotte, NC . This individual will support incoming and outgoing client calls to help new and existing customers with purchasing a home, refinancing, or securing a home equity line of credit.
You will analyze financial goals, recommend the optimal lending product, submit mortgage applications, collect documentation, and guide clients throughout the loan process.
This role requires SAFE Act registration , including a federal background check and maintaining active standing.
Work Schedule
- Regular : Monday-Friday, 10 AM-7 PM ET
- Rotating Saturdays : 8 AM-3 : 30 PM
- Training : Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM ET (approx. 8 weeks, 100% onsite, no time off )
- Hybrid Flexibility : After training, WFH up to 5 days per month
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional client care in a high-volume call centerRespond to inbound calls and make outbound calls to assess lending needsRecommend appropriate mortgage or HELOC solutionsAssist with application submission and documentation requirementsCommunicate with clients and partners via phone, email, and online messagingUse multiple lending systems and maintain compliance with lending policiesIdentify opportunities to refer additional bank products and servicesManage client expectations throughout the end-to-end mortgage processPartner with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely closingsRequirements
Required Qualifications
1+ year of sales and mortgage lending experienceBilingual - Spanish (Required)Strong client relationship and consultative skillsAbility to assess financial needs and recommend lending solutionsQuick learner with strong technology aptitudeProven customer service skills and ability to manage full origination lifecycleAbility to work under pressure in high-volume environmentsStrong communication skills-verbal, written, and non-verbalAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changeWeekend / extended hours flexibilityStrong, consistent sales performance historyProfessional, confident phone presenceStrong risk management and compliance awarenessHigh ethical standards and attention to regulatory requirementsMinimum Education : High school diploma or GEDDesired Qualifications
