As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Thur12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and helping to manage visitor flow.

Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing guidance to occupants as directed.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to clients, visitors, and employees.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
