About The Position

License : Kansas license required

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)

Must-Have :

Experience in performing CT scans

IV contrast administration

Description :

Hiring Process includes profile review and interview with the unit manager.

The department has 1 GE scanner.

No requirement to float or cover any other areas.

Common types of imaging and studies performed include all CT scans, strokes, and trauma.

The average number of scans / studies performed per day will vary.

The EMR used is Epic EMR, and the PACS system is Fuji Synapse.

The department uses GE 64 slice equipment.

No Registered Radiology Assistants are utilized in the department.

Typically, a Radiologist is in-house Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m.

Overnight positions will have IVs started in the Emergency Department or inpatient unit.

No requirement for the technologists to start IVs.

Self-scheduling is not allowed.

This position requires weekend coverage.

Holiday staffing is also a requirement.

The department is staffed 24 hours a day, so no call is required.

Scrubs are not provided, and there are no specific color requirements.

Department orientation will be provided, along with hospital orientation requirements.

The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
