Job Summary :
The Clerk is responsible for numerous outbound and inbound out of scope activities, packing and ship confirming the distributor orders, updating KPIs, investigation of orders not shipped or received on time, root cause on lines not shipped or processed properly. The Clerk must exercise the highest quality of email etiquette. The job requires a high degree of quantifiable and qualifiable results regarding accurate, complete, and timely responses.
Duties and Responsibilities :
All tasks in the process of shipping the daily shipments.
Examines records such as bills, computer printouts, bills of lading, and related documents and correspondence and Informs customer of returns, shipping dates, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by customer using email.
Working in Case Management to investigate and provide root causes on cases opened against the warehouse.
Confers with warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
Compiles statistics and prepares various reports for management.
Investigates overdue and damaged shipments or shortages in shipments for customers and / or common carriers.
Analyzes complaints concerning billing or service rendered, that refers to complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation, updating customers on a timely basis.
Pay attention to any special instructions or requirements a customer may have.
Provides back-up support for all accounts other than primary.
