What You'll Do : As an Ag Underwriter , you will exercise underwriting judgement to determine rate and risk selection for all agriculture lines of business. This includes reviewing changes, making modifications, rejections, cancellations, and non-renewal decisions in accordance with FBL policy. You will be responsible for assisting and educating the agency force through daily interaction, as well as assisting the claims department with ag claims settlement questions. You will define, implement and monitor a client service strategy consistent with our companies mission and vision. As an Ag Underwriter, you will also be in-office support for the Ag Marketing Underwriters out in the field. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the retention of profitable business through sound underwriting decisions and exceptional customer service.
