Job Description :

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience with a strong background in Snowflake architecture, SQL optimization, data warehousing, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data strategy . Additionally, they should possess leadership experience and the ability to provide technical guidance and architectural oversight.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and architect enterprise-scale Snowflake data warehouse solutions , including database schemas, data models, and multi-cluster warehouses
• Experience of implementing Data Vault on Snowflake is highly desirable
• Develop Snowflake best practices for performance optimization, cost management, and resource allocation
• Implement advanced Snowflake features including Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning, data sharing, and secure data exchanges
• Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions specifically for Snowflake's unique architecture
• Architect data integration strategies using Snowflake's native connectors, Snowpipe, and external stages
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Snowflake performance issues and implement optimization strategies
• Lead and mentor data engineering teams on Snowflake development, providing architectural guidance and best practices
• Design and implement scalable ELT / ETL pipelines leveraging Snowflake's cloud-native capabilities
• Establish data governance frameworks including role-based access control (RBAC), data classification, and compliance monitoring
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Snowflake data architecture solutions
• Implement Snowflake security best practices including network policies, encryption, and data masking
