Description :
This position leads all sanitation aspects of the food facility, including but not limited to complying with all quality, sanitation and safety requirements.
Requirements :
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
- Collaborate with the QA manager and plant management team.
- Develop and deploy sanitation standards.
- Provide technical assistance for various sanitation objectives.
- Lead daily operations of the sanitation department.
- Perform daily facility walk-throughs to ensure proper sanitation standards are being met.
- Perform weekly sanitation document checks and signoffs.
- Work with chemical supply vendor and plant laundry service provider.
- Support food safety and plant safety teams by monitoring procedures and practices of production and milling personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Well organized with attention to detail.Prior management experience.Excellent communication skills.Ability to make decisions.Experience and knowledge of manufacturing procedures.Willing to learn new skills.Ability to provide hands-on training when needed.Ability to fill in for sanitation staff shortages,Computer literate.
