Description : Position : CT Tech

Shift : Days, 4x12-hour shifts, 07 : 00 - 19 : 30.

Variable days of the week are required with 2 call shifts per month.

First-timers are accepted.

Candidates must have 2 years of experience.

On-call duty is required.

Candidates will not float within the scope to meet facility needs.

Block schedule accommodation is not available.

Locals are accepted.

Pending licenses are not accepted.

Facility is a Magnet and Teaching facility with Level I Trauma designation.

Total staff beds : 500.

Scrub color is any solid color, light blue is provided on-unit.

Charting system used is Epic.

Daily parking costs may vary for day and night shifts.

The facility has a busy trauma department and is a stroke center.

Special procedures and unit details :

The facility is equipped with three Siemens scanners and also has a downtime Canon scanner.

Two techs are assigned per scanner during the day with a total staff of 10-11 techs.

During nights, there are 6 techs, with 2 per scanner.

Call shifts are mandatory, with 2 call shifts per month.

Candidates require experience with a charting system, preferably Epic.

Candidates should have a diverse patient age group experience including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The daily census and number of visits per day are not specified.

Candidates must possess skills in various imaging techniques and preparation and administration of contrast media.

Background checks are required, and compliance with all facility policies is mandatory.

References are required upon application.

Candidates must be aware of compliance requirements and any necessary licensing considerations.
