Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details Location : Fayetteville, NC (28304) – North Carolina healthcare jobs Facility Type : Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry (Valley Pavilion South) Contract Type : Travel Registered Nurse contract Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Duration : 13-week nursing contract Shift : Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1720 Patient Ratios : 1 : 5-6 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Guaranteed Hours : All contracted shifts guaranteed after 2 call-offs per 13-week assignment Charting : Epic electronic health record Scrub Color : Royal blue and white Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (state of North Carolina or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required Must pass EKG exam (no exceptions) Epic charting experience preferred Travel nursing experience required Locals not accepted within 50 miles of facility Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Med / Surg Telemetry unit Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedures Administer medications, blood products, and manage IVs, central lines, and feeding tubes Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response Utilize Epic EHR for documentation and patient charting Maintain isolation precautions and infection control standards Participate in pre- and post-cath, angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and elective cardioversion care Provide weekend coverage as scheduled Float between similar nursing units as needed Take the next step in your travel nursing career with this Med / Surg Tele RN job in Fayetteville, NC.
