This posting is open exclusively to candidates participating in the Virginia Tech School of Architecture’s W_Internship program.
What You’ll Do :
- Support a wide range of design projects, working closely with our experienced team.
- Contribute to the creation of construction documents.
- Assist with renderings and visual presentations.
- Conduct research that directly influences design decisions.
- Collaborate on developing design concepts, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, serviceability, and client specifications.
- Prepare working drawings based on sketches and design inputs.
- Participate in project design meetings, gaining insight into how multi-disciplinary teams work together.
- Attend client meetings and visit construction sites to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the architecture team.
