Job description

Partner Engagement Lead

As a Partner Engagement Lead, you will be driving complex and impactful initiatives that improve the quality, reliability, robustness, and performance of our global initiatives. Particularly, you have an opportunity to define and execute the partner and scaling strategy for the Generative AI Innovation Center in order to co-develop industry solutions, co-build, and co-deliver on customer engagements with partners of all categories. As a Partner Engagement Lead on this charter, you are someone who thrives in ambiguity, has experience in launching programs, and is very good with written and verbal communication skills. You must have sound business judgment and the ability to think strategically with a long-term vision about this fast-growing space, while being able to execute on tactical details. Key job responsibilities include :

  • Collaborate with various areas of the business to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project and solution development launches from design to deployment.
  • Pursue technical excellence and proactively drive positive change in projects.
  • Communicate risks, progress, launches, and retrospectives to all stakeholders and teams with confidence and transparency.
  • Continuously strive to raise performance standards using objective metrics.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale experience.
  • 7+ years of leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
  • Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of delivering customer engagements in a professional services role experience.
  • Active project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2).
  • AWS certification.
  • Experience in delivering customer engagements in a professional services role.
  • Experience with Agile and project management toolsets like Jira, Rally, VersionOne or Taiga.
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent.

The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $238,900 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
