As a Physiatry / Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician, I provide inpatient coverage at a Level III Trauma Center, managing 10-20 adult patients daily in a 20-bed unit. My responsibilities include conducting pre-admission screenings, prescribing medications, and leading care plan documentation, while utilizing Cerner EMR. This role requires participation in team conferences and availability for hospital rounding with a call schedule.

• Aug 23 8am 5pm
• Aug 24 : Hospital rounding with 24hr Call
• Aug 25 : Hospital rounding with 24hr Call
• Aug 26 : 8am 5pm
• Aug 27 : 8am 5pm
• Aug 28 : 8am 5pm
• Schedule (Shifts and Hours) : Can be partial days with availability to approve admissions via computer. Team conferences are Tues and Friday at 8am so those days would be an 8am start.

PM&R Required Procedures : Pre Admission Screening Review and Documentation per CMS Guidelines, Prescribing Narcotics, Discharge Summary / Med Rec, Weekly Care Plan Documentation, Post admission evals, face to face visits, IPOCS, PAPE / H & P.

This program is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) as a Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Program for Adults, and as a Stroke Specialty Program (Adults).
